Rodeo Drive 19104
For its entire life on Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia, this sign never came close to the posh collection of shops on Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles. Both are streets, but that’s about their only connection. Yet the hubris of the sign thrills me.

Kosher killing
This one slays me. The sign, recently killed, hung above a butcher shop in South Philadelphia. Kosher killing means the slaughter must follow biblical rules. Gentile killing? Omigod.
